Welcome to our vacation home. Please
remember, this is our home and we are sharing it with you.
As with any household there are a few rules that will make
your environment more enjoyable, comfortable and will insure
the comfort of future guests. Please read them carefully
with your guests:
Check out time is 11:00 am, check in at 4:00
pm. Please do not request exceptions to these times as this
is the allotted time required to thoroughly clean the home
between visitors. Check in and check out is self service.
The house will be open when you arrive and you will be
instructed where the front door
key and remote garage door opener can be found. Please make
sure all doors are securely locked and the key and garage
door opener are returned upon your departure or a
$150 fee will be deducted from deposit (to change
locks/replace remote opener).
Please note that the locked closet in the master bedroom
contains the homeowner’s personal property. Please respect
the owner’s privacy; this closet is
not
included
as part of your rental.
SMOKING is NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the
premises. The only exceptions are described in detail in the
Welcome packet.
NO PETS allowed on premises, except
with owner’s approval, a $150 pet Fee (to be used to clean upholstery/carpets/curtains,
etc. for the comfort and consideration of future
pet-allergic guests), and a signed Pet Addendum. No animals
will be allowed in any of the bedrooms at any time; bedroom
doors must be kept closed at all times. Pets found on
premises without permission will be grounds for immediate
eviction with no refunds.
Guests are provided with clean bed linens and
a start-up supply of bath soaps/shampoos, toilet tissue,
paper towels, dishwashing detergent, trash bags, cleaning
supplies, kitchen/bath/pool towels, laundry detergent,
bleach, fabric softener, plastic wrap, aluminum foil,
tanning lotions, boxes of assorted teas and a bag of roasted
coffee for your enjoyment.
The dishwasher is already filled with a
6-month supply of dish detergent and will disperse only as
much as each load requires; you do not have to add any.
Please make sure all dishes are clean and put away upon your
departure.
The clothes washer/dryer are located off the
master bathroom (w/user’s manuals). Please make sure all
unwashed towels and bed linens are placed in the laundry
basket in the laundry room upon your departure.
NEVER
place wet towels on the furniture, beds or carpets! Please
do not use decorative pillows or shams for nightly bedding.
Please do not place any paper products (no
feminine hygiene products) other than toilet paper or tissue
in the toilets. Wrap feminine hygiene products and
disposable diapers separately and place them in the outside
garbage can.
No parties allowed, and no loud noise/music
after 8:00pm weekdays, 10:00pm weekends. Please
respect the peace and privacy of the neighborhood, and
remember that even though you are on vacation, our neighbors
have to get up early and go to work in the morning.
Please separate trash and recycles and place
them in appropriate receptacles outside the garage. Trash
day is Tuesday; if you check out before Monday, the property
manager will tend to the trash, otherwise, please bring it
to the curb on Monday evening. It is also extremely
important to ensure that you properly dispose of all
perishable food items (do not leave them inside the house)
before you check out.
If you plan on staying more than one week and
would like to request a housekeeper (at your expense) before
the end of your scheduled visit, please let us know. The fee
is $150 for a full cleaning, and you will pay her directly.
The vacuum cleaner is in the closet in the
master bedroom. There are assorted tools in one of the
pantry closets in the hallway. There is a large trash can
and recycle bin in the broom closet in the hallway.
Leave all furniture where you found it,
please be careful not to scratch the lanai floor when moving
furniture.
You are welcome to use the gas BBQ grill and
smoker, please clean them after use and re-cover upon
departure.
You are welcome to use any spices, condiments
or pantry products in the kitchen; please do not consume the
owner’s frozen foods or alcoholic beverages. Please do not
change the refrigerator or freezer settings.
The LCD HDTVs will play DVDs and basic
Digital cable channels. You are welcome to use the Wii
system.
The house phone line is covered for most
in-country long-distance calls, but we prefer you use your
own cell phones. All toll calls appearing on the phone bill
and "pay per view" cable charges incurred during your stay
will be deducted from your deposit.
If you have a laptop with a wireless network
connection, you can log into the high speed wireless network
through the house, which is configured for a secure network.
Logon information will be provided in your welcome packet.
Never leave the exterior doors or windows
open when the air conditioning is on as this will burn out
the a/c unit.
Make sure everything is turned off when
leaving the house. Before checking out, please set the
thermostat at 78° in the summer, and 68° in the winter.
Thank you, and we hope you enjoy your visit!
